Hitman Absolution - Glitches/Bugs - Barfight gone wrong
5Little stuffs with the barfight in mission: Welcome to Hope | Great Balls of Fire. Though the fight can be started with easier methods, I chose to glass Kane for fun & as an added bonus, his cigarette floated in midair during that part.
- It seems that there are set people 47 has to deal with first in a few hotspots, & this causes these few people to appear out of nowhere, from inside someone else if need be, generally when 47 tries to take their partner down first. Most noticable with when I tried to knock out the cops in the bathroom.
- The only 'non-target casualties' penalty granted during the barfight is when 47 hits anybody from behind with any 'non-weapon' items, apart from straight up murdering them with 'weapon' items, or shooting them. & thus 47 can go crazy.
- A weird occurrence where some people gain temporary invisibility. Should've tried to shoot them.
- The models for bodies that cannot be dragged are somewhat broken as their limbs laid on top of each other like spaghetti if not folded like paper. I didn't focus much in the vid coz I didn't realise it then.
- An event where a guy got kicked through a wall into the bathroom, 47 can walk up to that fella to 'revive' him, or interact with his partner to cancel the wall breaking part.
- Apparently the auto KO system when 47 is on a staircase is treated differently during the barfight, in which it is considered lethal, more so than breaking a hotsauce in front of people's faces.
-- Added bonus, the alert from the staircase auto KO also canceled the wall breaking part, & that fella got stuck in the wall.
- Triggering Kane's fight scene during his conversation will get his lip to move as though he is still talking when he isn't. Also he's exhaling smoke during the cutscene.
- The last clip, 03:50 onwards, duly notice the minimap. 47 was only spotted long after he'd shot the bartender, coupled with the fact that one white non alerted icon from a very far back area turned orange & ran after 47. Upon being forced to deal with that fella, the fully alerted red icons spread from that far back (presumably where the guy was before) to where he was taken down, instead of the other way around...
