This is part 2 of a 5 phase video series, showcasing my home workout routine.

Once you have activated your body, it is time to perform a warm-up consisting of light stretching and basic motor movement. Although your muscles are activated, it is still best to undertake a brief warm-up to further prepare your body for the routine that lies ahead. If we take the analogy of a race car, activation is switching the ignition. Warming up is revving the engine a few times, and the training itself is when the light goes green, and you floor the throttle. Many fitness people overlook warming up and flexibility when aiming to sculpt a god-like figure. This is a huge mistake, and any fitness programme which does not include an element of flexibility is fundamentally flawed.
