Some more madness that is possible to create on the unpatched version using fast travel.

0:00 - Tallneck override prompts + fast travel.

Some of the override prompts in the game are different from regular enemy overrides. I call these ones "cinematic override prompts".

If you activate this prompt + open menu exactly at the same time (quest window may have to be open too), you get the following effect...

The fast travel works like normal. But then Aloy begins floating back towards the override area as if compelled by some unseen supernatural force. She will glide past all obstacles and is immune to gravity too. After finally reaching the original coordinates, Aloy snaps out of it and falls down to ground level. Aloy can do other actions during this time, but nothing she can do prevents the inevitable slide towards the original coordinates. Another fast travel ends the glitch early. Mounting also ends the glitch early.

This isn't actually fast travel glitching the override animation itself: rather, it's glitching the "auto-positioning" moment prior to the override animation. However, doing the override animation itself seems very difficult since the timing for it varies depending on Aloy's location, and I couldn't get it to work on my attempts so far. Maybe some day? But it's not that critical, I guess.

(Note: if you fast travel too far away while trying to start this glitch, it fails and nothing happens.)

1:19 - I revisited the rappel prompt and tried it with the new timing of pressing prompt + opening menu exactly at the same time. And sure enough, you get a similar unique effect with them too.

Aloy once again becomes compelled and starts running and gliding towards the rappel location. However, it's a bit different mode from before and most of Aloy's actions are disabled at the moment. Can't use prompts, can't attack, can't jump. Another fast travel ends the glitch early. Otherwise, Aloy makes her way to the rappel point and successfully uses it.

Interesting to note that not even hitting water will cause Aloy to stop her physics-defying crusade of returning to the rappel point.

(Note: if you fast travel too far away while trying to start this glitch, it fails and nothing happens.)

3:16 - scrambling down hill + fast travel. Sounds like a somewhat boring combination, but it causes the "particle effects" of gravel to glitch up, and you get quite a big cloud of flying rocks and dust after the fast travel.

3:51 - having fun with the clouds of debris and photo mode.

4:55 - I think if you fast travel too far away, you don't get any rocks. Instead you just get a billowing, laggy dust cloud.

5:31 - mounting from above + fast travel. Aloy does the mount animation elsewhere and sinks inside ground for a moment. I wonder what would happen if you hit another machine enemy with this animation? Would you accidentally start riding them?

5:47 - wild mount + fast travel. The mount will not travel with Aloy, unlike when fast travelling while riding a tame mount. Another side effect is that Aloy's body is frozen in a subtly odd pose until you press L-stick to move to a direction.
