How and Why We F*@%ed Climate Change
36Climate change, it sure is a thing that's going on. You all voted for this topic and while I've wanted to do something on it for a while, it can be a little daunting to tackle. Though I have to say it is topical given the recent IPCC report and the upcoming (as of release) COP 26 Summit. So, I've decided to flex a bit of my old education and do a bit on the history of climate change and how we came to understand the mechanics of it in a physical way. Then move onto the series of decisions at the societal level that's led to us being in what looks like an almost impossible position to be in. I also try to resolve the question that's been on my mind a lot, whether we've left it too late to resolve climate change in a fair and equitable way. Fair warning, this one is a little different from what I usually do, I don't usually do scientific stuff or drink this many mojitos (or really, wear such loud shirts), but I hope you enjoy this as much as you can!
