In this video I'll show you how configure SAMBA to stop the Mac OS X error "The operation can't be completed because the item is in use." when copying files to a network share.

smb.conf, add these to the [global] section:

veto files = /._*/.DS_Store/.Trashes/.TemporaryItems/
delete veto files = yes
