6Investigating a haunted orphanage in Russia sounds like an absolutely amazing horror game concept. Unfortunately, Summer of ’58 lost me with too much repetition and a somewhat muddled storytelling (and some dubious pacing). It’s still an interesting game with some cool ideas but a lot more trope than I could handle. I am still looking forward to the sequel because towards the end there’s a plot detail that was actually really cool.
