Choose your own zombie death! / 9pm demo Lets Play
2“9 PM” is a choose your own adventure zombie game where your characters are stuck in a lab at 9pm, realizing that there might be a zombie apocalypse happening and they need to make it out alive. The game was developed by Fulmen (according to their itch-page) and it looks absolutely adorable.
The writing is engaging, fun and funny. It also manages to create unique, loveable characters with their own backstory but without too much backstory-padding (like, everything has a good flow). The choices make sense, are actually not easy to make and the endings (I played four) are unique and fun. The alpha version has 14 endings all in all (10 for one character and 4 for the other) and considering that it’s an alpha there’s maybe more to come (characters and endings, I think).
I also think that the fate of each character is intertwined with the others, although I could not make use of it, I am quite sure you need to keep that in mind.
The developer also has some really cool-looking mystery games on itch that I probably will look into at some point.
