How Steam Support Recovered My Account (Re-Upload)
Basically a brief video of me talking about how my Steam Account got hijacked and recovered after the incident happened. I do apologize for the low volume quality of my microphone because I used a headset (didn't only use the mic as I wore the headphones) to record.
Long story short, one of my friends in my friends list posted a link on friends chat that I could "win free games" with just one roll. Apparently I got baited when it asked for my Steam credentials, which resulted into a complete hijack of my account (Steam ID/password changed, e-mail ID changed, phone number changed and Steam Guard removed). This also resulted into spamming the same "game link" to the rest of my friends in my list.
I panicked when this happened, so I immediately contacted Steam Support if they will help. Surprisingly, they responded a few hours after I contacted them, thanks to Rex from Steam Support. He or they recovered the account by changing a temporary password for my login info (and then I changed my password myself).
Luckily, nothing appeared to have been stolen or removed from my account. To those of you from my friends list watching this video, I am deeply sorry you were affected and I will try to make sure this type of incident will not happen again in the future.
That's pretty much my story. The moral? Do not click on suspicious links you may be given. Your friend(s) may had their account compromised in the first place.
