Hi everyone and welcome to our weekly Fallout 4 modding show. I'm Thyworm, bringing you Modding News and Mod Reviews, with our main storyline today: How the Phoenix Project annihilated Mankind - A True Story

How'd that happen? Well, you mostly get to figure this out yourself, because we're talking about a quest mod here. Phoenix Project, A true story, is a very ambitious project by Schrattor. You dive into the story of Dr Cort, a man involved in human experiments, radiation, dark plots, the apocalypse, you name it. Because human experiments and radiation usually end up in feral ghouls, you'll be fighting quite a few of those, while you uncover new locations and even an entire new faction, including their own art, paints, weapons, recipes and a player home.

Up next is something that's tough to show, which is
Swingin Baby - Electro Swing Radio Station.
So what I'll do is I'm going to use that music in this video. Every song you hear in this video can be found in this mod. The mod itself brings a new radio station to the Commonwealth with catchy, swing songs. If you want to lift the spirits, go for a dance, that kind of thing.

Also an awesome mod is Ketaros Trading Cards, by Ketaroz. This mod author added no less than 100 pinup playing cards to the game and it's up to you to find them. Now guys, i'm playing this game for hours already to show you all this stuff, so I really can't be bothered to go treasure hunting for what are apparently insanely well hidden cards. But you can, so here you go.

We also have a weapon mod this week, which is the DL-44 Heavy Blaster by Rosestorm. The plot here is that the Bureau of Alcohol, Drugs, Firearms and Lasers, the BADTFL, has discovered a new gun, made a report and it's up to you to find this gun as well. The gun features custom models, textures, firing sound, and animations, but most of all, this gun was Han Solo's favorite gun.
In the star wars universe, the DL-44 heavy blaster was apacble of penetrating storm trooper armor, and therefore highly sought after by smugglers, like han solo. The iconic rebellion fighter uses it in many occassions, modified the standard Blastech edition slightly and made sure it could deal some serious damage. This is what the mod looks like in game.
It's a very well done mod and if you're a star wars fan or you've just always wanted to hold a blaster, get this gun.

This is 10 Cloverfield Lane, an excellent movie in which John Goodman plays a deranged guy who's afraid of the apocalypse and aliens. It's clever, funny and scary, all at the same time. And This, is 11 Cloverfield lane, a player home mod inspired by the movie and this mod is a piece of art.

This player home absolutely nails it when it comes to similarities between the player home and the movie. it starts with the stairs down, check. The living room with the table where they play games at. Check. The jukebox, check. Massive amounts fo food and drinks: check. The couch on which John Gioiodman watches all these shows: check. The room with the acid barrel, although the barrel isn't there? Check, it's now your bed room. And of course the prison room, where the girl got tied to the wall. Check, even the hand cuffs are there, the matrass and the IV, althiough in-game it's RadAway.
If you're a fan of the movie like I am, you'll find some other references as well. But even if yo're not a fan, this is a really good looking player home, with tons of details available and of course all crafting stations as well.
