Why Quick Loot is my new favorite mod | Skyrim SE Modding News
20One of my biggest issues with the vanilla skyrim game is the loot system, but today we have a mod that fixes that, which is why Quick Loot SE is instantly one of my favorite Skyrim mods. So, Quick Loot SE, already one of my favorite mods ever. Looting is one of the most tedious things in the game in my opinion, and this mod makes the whole process so much smoother. I did a video on how to install this mod and set up the .ini file to your liking, so check that one out if you want.
In short, this mod basically replaces the vanilla Skyrim loot system with the mouse-hover quick looting from Fallout 4. Works like a charm, highly customisable, an absolute joy to use. This increases the whole pace of the game by a lot, because you'll be less in those pesky menus. Well, you guessed it, I'm a fan.
Let's move on with some weapons. We got a whole collection that was ported by the one and only Mnikjom. What would we do without Mnikjom guys, the mod author who is seemingly on a mission to port each and every mod from Oldrim to SE. This time it's a collection of weapons from ClipsyMoon.
Another nice surprise in terms of weapons is the Rose Sword by Streider, which adds a single sword to the game. It looks absolutely stunning, with the vibrant textures and its elegant design. It also comes with its own scabbard, which is always a plus. The details on this sword and scabbard are stunning.
So let's say you're an adventuring orc, not having discovered any Orc stronghold just yet, and you need a home. Sure, you could get breezehome, but you could also get your own Orc longhouse. You just need this mod, Heilung.
Should you want to increase the amount of trees in the Whiterun valley, then I have the mod for you. This is Alpine Forest of Whiterun Valley by Megaloblast. And we all have a little bit of megaloblast in us ladies and gentlemen, because it part of our immune system. Just putting that out there.
Another small overhaul is Folguntur Reborn, by Mnikjom. This time this isn't a port, but the mod authors own work. So that's nice. It adds just some additional things to the Folguntur ruins, such as an extra ruin, graves, some swords as memories for the fallen, and finally some flora. Here's some comparison shots once again. Gives a pretty clear idea of what this mod does I'd say.
And I personally like this sort of small mods. They'll almost never get a ton of endorsements, but they add that little something to the game. If you go exploring this ruin again for the lost loegends quest, that kind of thing. It's great.
