How to Add a Browser Source to OBS for Live Stream or Video (ANY URL)
To add a browser source to OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) for your live stream or video, follow these steps:
Open OBS Studio:
Launch OBS on your computer.
Create or Select a Scene:
Either create a new scene or select an existing one where you want to add the browser source.
Add a Browser Source:
In the “Sources” panel, click the “+” button at the bottom.
Select “Browser” from the list of source types.
Name Your Browser Source:
A dialog box will appear asking you to name the new source. Enter a name and click “OK”.
Configure the Browser Source:
In the properties window, enter the URL of the web page you want to display.
Set the width and height to match your desired resolution.
You can also adjust additional settings like FPS, custom CSS, and shutdown behavior when the source is not visible.
Adjust the Browser Source:
After adding the browser source, you can resize and reposition it within the scene by clicking and dragging the source in the preview window.
Interact with the Browser Source (Optional):
If you need to interact with the browser source (e.g., click buttons, scroll), right-click the browser source in the “Sources” panel and select “Interact”. A new window will open allowing you to interact with the web page.
Save and Test:
Once configured, make sure to save your scene and test your stream or recording to ensure the browser source displays correctly.
