How to Add a Gift Card to Walmart App
0Adding a gift card to your Walmart app is a straightforward process, and you can do it either while checking out or directly through your account settings. This helps speed up future purchases by ensuring your gift card is saved in your digital wallet.
To begin, launch the Walmart app on your mobile device and log in to your account. From the main screen, tap the account icon located at the bottom right of your screen. This brings up your account management dashboard. Next, tap on the gear icon in the top right corner to access the app settings.
From the settings menu, select the option labeled "Wallet." This section allows you to manage all your payment methods, including debit cards, credit cards, PayPal, and gift cards. Tap on "Add new payment method." On this screen, you’ll see different options for entering card details. Choose the one that corresponds to gift cards.
Now, enter the gift card number exactly as it appears on your physical or digital gift card. Some gift cards may also require a PIN, so if prompted, enter that as well. After you’ve filled in all required fields, tap the save button. Once saved, your gift card balance will be available for future purchases through the Walmart app.
You can also choose to apply the gift card directly during checkout by selecting it from your saved payment methods. This way, you won’t need to enter the details again every time you shop.
