How to Delete a Facebook Page
0Deleting a Facebook page can be useful if the page is no longer needed, you're rebranding, or if it's a duplicate. Keep in mind that only users with full admin access can delete a Facebook page. The process includes a short grace period during which the page can still be restored, but after that, the deletion is permanent.
To start, open the Facebook app and log in. Make sure you are managing the page and not just browsing from your personal profile. You can switch to your page identity by tapping on the profile switcher or selecting your page from the Pages section.
Once you’re operating as your page, tap the menu icon, typically represented by three horizontal lines at the bottom right on iPhone or top right on Android. Then tap the gear icon in the top right to open 'Settings & privacy'. From there, tap on 'Settings'.
Scroll down until you find the section labeled 'Your Facebook information'. Within this section, look for 'Access and control'. Tap it, and you’ll see various options including 'Deactivation and deletion'. Choose 'Delete Page'.
After selecting 'Delete Page', Facebook will display a warning explaining that this action is permanent, but you’ll have a 14-day grace period to cancel the deletion if you change your mind. Tap 'Continue', then confirm the action by entering your password when prompted.
The page will then be scheduled for deletion. If you don’t cancel within the grace period, the page will be permanently removed from Facebook and no longer accessible.
This method only deletes the page, not your personal Facebook account or any other pages you manage. Make sure to download any data or media from the page beforehand if needed.
