The first step of getting Bonsai Trees in Minecraft is actually downloading and installing Forge. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial on downloading and install Forge in Minecraft 1.15.2 linked in the description above. This tutorial has helped hundreds of thousands of people install Forge and get it up and running. Once you have Forge installed, we can move on to getting Bonsai Trees setup.
The first step of adding bonsai trees to Minecraft is downloading the Bonsai Trees 2 mod. You can find the official download link for the Bonsai Trees 2 mod in the description above. Once you are there, look at the right-hand sidebar and scroll down until you see a “Minecraft 1.15” section. Under that you will see a version of the Bonsai Tree mod with a purple download button to the right of it. Click that download button and you will be taken to a page where your download will begin after 6 seconds. You will need to keep or save the file on your browser.
We also need to download the Libnonymous mod by repeating the process above. You can find Libnonymous’ download link in the description above.
After you have Bonsai Trees 2 and Libnonymous downloaded, it is time to get them installed. You can do this by hitting the Windows Key and ‘R’ on your keyboard at the exact same time to open up the ‘Run’ application. In this application, type ‘%appdata%’, and hit enter. This will open your roaming folder. Here, you’ll see a .minecraft folder. Open that, and you’ll have a mods folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one! At this point, all you need to do in order to install Bonsai Trees in Minecraft 1.15.2 is drag-and-drop the Bonsai Tree 2 and Libnonymous mods in this mod folder.
Now, we aren’t completely finished adding Bonsai Trees to Minecraft as we need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the play button, select the ‘Forge’ version here, and then, click play. At this point, Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Bonsai Trees 2 installed!
