FTB Ultimate Reloaded is a kitchen sink type modpack meaning it has a little bit of everything. It’s based on the original FTB Ultimate, which is actually one of FTB’s original modpacks. It’s a really cool modpack with a ton of features, so let’s go ahead and jump right on into how to download and install FTB Ultimate Reloaded in Minecraft!
First and foremost, we need to download the #FTB Launcher. In the past few months #FeedTheBeast has moved all of their modpacks to their own launcher. This includes FTB #UltimateReloaded. You can find the official download link for the Feed The Beast launcher in the description above. Once you are there, click the green ‘Download’ button under the windows section. This will download the FTB Ultimate Reloaded launcher instantly.
Now, we need to install the FTB Launcher. Doing this is super easy to. Just double-click on the file you downloaded. This will open up a dialogue box that says ‘First Run’. Click ‘Apply’ here, and the launcher will start installing. Once it is done it will open automatically, and we can move on to adding FTB Ultimate Reloaded to Minecraft!
This process is actually pretty simple to. The first step is downloading FTB Ultimate Reloaded. You can do this by clicking the ‘FTB Modpacks’ button in the top center and scroll down until you see ‘FTB Ultimate Reloaded’. Once you do, click on it, and then, click on the ‘select profile’ drop-down in the bottom right. Click on ‘Create Profile’ and a pop-up box will appear. Here you want to enter your Minecraft login information. The same login information that you use to login to the default Minecraft launcher. After you enter in your login info, click ‘Add’. Click on the Select Profile drop down again, and you will see your profile. Click that, and click the ‘Launch’ button to the right of the drop down box. At this point, FTB Ultimate Reloaded begin downloading.
Once the download is finished, FTB Ultimate Reloaded will start installing. Now, you may run into issues during the start-up process, and if you do, no worries. Just add more RAM to FTB Ultimate Reloaded using the ‘Options’ tab at the top of the FTB Launcher. After doing that, go pack to the Modpacks tab, reselect FTB Ultimate Reloaded if you need to, and click ‘Launch’ in the bottom right. FTB Ultimate Reloaded will now open up!
