You must have a Forge server in order to get your Minecraft server work with mods.
After you have your Forge server setup, we need to download some Minecraft 1.18.2 mods. In the description below, we link on to JEI, Xaero’s Minimap, and Spark. However, any Minecraft 1.18.2 mods will work on a server. When you click the link in the description though, it will actually take you to our website where you can scroll down and click the ‘Download MOD’ button to be taken to the mods official download page. When downloading a mod, make sure that it is the 1.18.2 Forge version of the mod.
Once you have your mods downloaded, we can get them installed. Open up your Minecraft server folder. In this folder, you will have a mods folder. If you don’t, you don’t have a Forge server, so go create one and come back. Then, drag-and-drop your mods into this mods folder. It’s that easy to install a Minecraft 1.18.2 mod on a server.
