About this video: This video is our complete guide on how to build a crafting table in Minecraft. We show you all of the different types of wood that you can make a crafting table from, how to chop down trees to craft a crafting, how to breakdown wood into planks for a crafting table, and finally how to craft a crafting table in Minecraft.
So the first step of making a Minecraft crafting table is getting wood. You can do this by finding any kind of tree and punching it. Just make sure that you are holding down the mouse button or hold on your screen in order to chop it down.
Once you have a piece of wood, you will need to open your inventory. This is different for every platform Minecraft is on. However, with your inventory open, move the log you have from your inventory to the four squares next to your character in your inventory. 4 wooden planks will appear. Select and move these to your inventory.
Now, still in your inventory screen, take the four wood planks and put them in all four slots in the crafting area next to your player. When you do, a crafting table will appear. Click that and move it to your inventory. This can now be placed and opened to access a bigger crafting menu where tools and a other things can be crafting.
