This video shows you exactly how to add more RAM to Minecraft 1.13 in addition to talking about how much RAM Minecraft 1.13 actually needs. Adding more RAM can reduce lag in Minecraft, but usually, doing so will only stop lag when you have a TON of Minecraft mods running. Think modpacks like SevTech or Crazy Craft. For Vanilla Minecraft, anything over 4GB is honestly overkill.

About this video: In this #tutorial, I show you exactly how to get more RAM in Minecraft 1.13. I also go over how much RAM Minecraft actually needs and how much you should add if you are playing on a modpack, vanilla Minecraft, or even just a Minecraft server. This really is everything that you need to know about RAM and Minecraft, so let's get on into!

First and foremost, you actually need to download the correct version of Java for your PC. Doing this is easy. Just open up system information and see if you have a 64 bit or 32 bit computer. In system information, you can also find how much RAM your PC has as we will need to know that in order to make sure we don't add too much RAM to Minecraft.

Now that you know what kind of PC you have as well as how much RAM you have, you can download Java. You can find the Java JDK download link above. Once you've got that, downloaded and installed, it installs like any other program, we can go ahead and add more RAM to Minecraft.

Start off by opening up the Minecraft launcher. Then, go over to your 'Launch options' tab and enable 'Advanced settings. Then, select the profile you want to play on, and turn on JVM arguments. Then, at the very beginning of the box next to it, you will see '-Xmx1G'. Replace the '1' here with the amount of RAM you want to add to #Minecraft 1.13.

Now, just click save and go back to the 'news' tab. Select the profile you just added more RAM to, and click 'play'. You have now added more RAM to Minecraft 1.13. Congratulations!

If this #MinecraftTutorial did help you add more RAM to the game, please give it a thumbs up and be sure to subscribe for more awesome Minecraft tutorials and let's plays every single day of the week. Thanks for watching!
