hey guys what's going on it's the
digital tutor here with another
step-by-step tutorial
in today's video i'm just going to show
you how you can cancel
your trial for youtube premium
so if you've taken out free trial and
you've had a look around youtube premium
you're not really feeling it and you
want to cancel
then stay tuned to learn how to go ahead
and cancel your trial

so without further ado let's get stuck
in
what we're going to do first is come
across to youtube.com
and you just want to sign into the
accounts that you
used to start your youtube premium free
trial
okay so once you're logged into the
account
all you need to do is simply click your
icon
your profile icon up in the top right
hand corner
and if you look at the second option
down it says purchases and
memberships go ahead and give that a
click
and you will see um this is going to
list
all your purchases if you've made any
purchases on youtube
and any memberships and you can see
right here underneath memberships
you've got youtube premium here
individual membership
11.99 per month
what you need to do is go ahead and
click on to manage membership
and it's just going to tell you when
your free trial ends
for my example i if i was happy
my first payment to youtube premium
would actually happen on
march 9th which is a month's time
from now you do get a full month
trial if you deactivate before
the start of the bidding period you
would still get that free trial up until
the end
of the period before you're due to be
built
so all you need to do to cancel is
simply go ahead and click
the deactivate button here
and it's just going to come up with a
quick message saying before you cancel
did you know you can pause which means
you can put your membership on hold
um for up to six months and resume it
so that's an option if you wanted to do
that but in this video we're not going
to be doing that
so what we're going to do is go ahead
and click continue to cancel
and youtube's going to ask you for a bit
of feedback
you don't have to leave any feedback
it's completely optional
so i'm just gonna put something along
the lines
of other
uh if you don't want to select an option
just click never mind if you do want to
send some feedback to youtube select one
of the options and go ahead and click
onto
next
and then it's just going to come up with
a quick confirmation saying are you sure
you want to cancel
um and it's just going to list the
benefits of youtube premium so
obviously if you cancel you're going to
lose the ad free videos
the options download and background play
and obviously access to youtube original
shakes
so we're going to go ahead and cancel
so we're going to confirm we're going to
click yes cancel
okay and what's happened that's how she
deactivated
the membership
you'll see if i um if i click on my icon
and i come across and i click onto
purchases and memberships again
you'll see it's now changed before he
was saying the price and when i was next
going to be billed
it's now coming up with a um saying
benefits ends
on march 9th so
your free trial you get you get access
to that even if you cancel within the
free trial you still get the full month
free which is pretty cool
