tutorial
and in today's video i'm just going to
show you how you can delete your
ready account on an android phone
so if you're new to the channel and you

what we need to do is come across and
open up
google and then we want to go
on to the reddit site
so we'll be showing you how to do this
via reddit.com
rather than the app uh the reddit app
which you can download from the play
store
okay so i'm on reddit.com and as you can
see i'm logged into my account here
what we're going to do is just go and
click on to settings
on here and it's going to drop down
a menu and we want to click onto account
settings
just give that a second today
okay so once you're on your account
settings page all you need to do
is scroll down uh you don't need to
click the tabs at the top
just scroll down to the bottom
and you'll see right there it says
deactivate account and
what you need to do is click the red bin
underneath that says the activate
account
and basically it's just going to come up
saying
you know if you're having a problem on
reddit please consider contacting us
before the update in your account
also just a note that when you
deactivate your account
it's not going to delete the content of
posts and comments you've made on reddit
as it says here
what you actually need to do is go
through and delete them individually
but you know if you're not really fussed
about that don't worry
uh it's gonna ask for some feedback this
is completely optional but you can send
reddit a little message saying
uh you know i'm deactivating my account
because of
blah blah blah so
if you're happy with all that and you're
happy to go ahead all you need to do is
input your username here
and your password
uh then you need to click the tick box
here
just to confirm that you understand the
activated accounts are not recoverable
and once you take that box the
deactivate button is going to light up
red
go ahead and give it a click and it's
just going to once again remind you that
the action cannot be
undone are you sure you want the
activate go ahead and press the activate
and that's it done it's going to take
you back to the login screen but you can
see my account
has now been decapitated and deleted
