I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
Southern Barrens is the part of the original Barrens that ended up south of the Great Divide that was caused by the cataclysm. The main problem in the area is the conflict between the Horde and the Alliance, as the Alliance has been pushing their presence here and actually destroyed two of the Hordes towns! But the Horde doesn't give up so easily and they've got a plan to push the Alliance back! But wait, there's more! Because of the events that unfolded in the Wailing Caverns in Northern Barrens, a huge surge of life has appeared in a big part down here in the south. A jungle has sprung up! But there is something unnatural about it, it's growing out of control and changing the wildlife. And even further south the Quillboar has their sacred lands and will do anything to protect them!
