How To Choose Default Applications or Programs In Windows 10

In this video I will show you how to choose your default applications that Windows will use to play your music, display your pictures, open your mail, play your videos and more.

Steps to Choose or Change Default Apps or Programs In Windows:
1. Navigate to the bottom left hand corner of your task bar and left click on the search box
2. Search for "Default apps"
3. Open Default Apps
4. Choose each default application for each category. There are six categories; Email, Maps, Music Player, Photo Viewer, Video Player, Web Browser.
5. To change and customize each category simply left click on the current default application that is set.
6. Windows will then prompt you to choose an application from the list of installed relevant applications on your computer. Simply left click on the application that you would like to set as default for that category
7. Repeat the process for each category to set your custom default app.

Congratulations! You have successfully changed your Default Apps or Programs In Windows 10

Note 1: If you would like to go back to the original windows 10 recommended app for all categories simply scroll all the way down to the bottom of Default apps in your system systems to "Reset Microsoft recommended defaults" and left click on "Reset".

Note 2: At the very bottom of Default apps in your system settings you also have the ability to:
- Choose default applications by file type
- Choose default applications by protocol
- Set defaults by app
- Recommended browser settings
