How To Unsubscribe From Mass Emails - How To Opt Out Of Email Lists

In this video I will show you how to unsubscribe from mass emails using two different methods. If you signed up on a site that sends lots of emails, such as product updates, promotional offers or newsletters, you can use the unsubscribe link to stop getting these emails. In the first method you will unsubscribe by left clicking on the unsubscribe link at the very bottom of the email message that you would like to stop receiving promotions/newsletters from. In the second method you will unsubscribe by left clicking on the unsubscribe link, right next to the senders name at the top of the email message.

Steps To Unsubscribe From Email Lists:

Method 1:
1. Open your browsers and navigate to your email providers log in page.
2. Log into your email account
3. Select the email message that contains the newsletter or promotion from the sender that you would like to unsubscribe from
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the email message and left click on the unsubscribe link. The unsubscribe link may be an "opt out" link or another word with a similar meaning.
5. Once done, a new tab will open, taking you to the senders site where you can manage your communication preferences.
6. Select the option to unsubscribe from the mailing list by clicking on a button that says "unsubscribe" or tick the appropriate boxes to stop receiving newsletters/promotions or product offers from the sender.

Method 2:
1. Open your browsers and navigate to your email providers log in page.
2. Log into your email account
3. Select the email message that contains the newsletter or promotion from the sender that you would like to unsubscribe from
4. Next to the sender's name/email address, click Unsubscribe or Change preferences at the top of the email message. You will then be given an option to move the current email message you are viewing to the spam folder.

Congratulations you have now successfully unsubscribed from the senders mailing list.

Please Note: It may take a few days for the mailing list to stop sending you messages after you've unsubscribed.
