Step 1. Open the Google Chrome app on your iPhone or iPad, and then tap the ellipses in the menu on this screen. A menu opens.

Step 2. Swipe from right to left in the menu across the top of this screen, and then tap "Settings" in this menu.

Step 3. Tap "Search Engine" in this list of options. The next screen shows you a list of available search engines that you can make the default in the Google Chrome app on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 4. Tap to place a check mark next to the search engine you want to be the default going forward, and then tap "Done." Going forward, whenever you perform a search in the Google Chrome app on your iPhone or iPad, you'll see results from your newly chosen default search engine.
