The Disney Plus streaming service has a show or movie for almost everyone. If you ever become worried that the email address associated with your Disney Plus account becomes compromised, you should change to use a more secure email address immediately. This will help ensure that hackers can't steal your Disney Plus account, or worse, gain access to the personal information you have stored associated with your account, such as your credit card and address. The process for changing your Disney Plus email address is virtually the same across all of the platforms where you can access the streaming service, such as through a web browser, Roku, Amazon Fire, iOS, Android, Xbox, PS4, and more.
Now let's walk through the steps to change the email address associated with your Disney Plus account.
Step 1. Launch Disney Plus on your preferred platform. You'll land on your Disney Plus home screen.
Step 2. Tap or click your profile icon on the home screen. On some platforms, such as Roku or Xbox, you'll need to navigate to the far left side of the screen to open a menu where your profile icon is displayed. A menu appears.
Step 3. Select "Account" in the menu. The Account screen is displayed.
Step 4. Select either "Change Email" or the "Edit" icon to the right of the email address currently associated with your Disney Plus account in the Account Details section. The Change Email screen appears.
Step 5. Enter the new email address you want to associate with your Disney Plus account in the New Email field, and then enter the password associated with your Disney Plus account in the Password field to confirm it. Tap "Save" after entering this information. You'll be returned to the Account screen where you'll see an Email Changed message appear briefly on the screen. Additionally, you'll see the new email address associated with your Disney Plus account now appears in the Account Details section. Finally, you'll also receive an email at both the previous and current email addresses associated with your Disney Plus account notifying you that your account has been changed. Going forward, when you're prompted to enter the email address associated with your Disney Plus account, you'll need to use your new email address.
