Google Pay is a convenient way to pay for services, both online and in retail stores. It's important to routinely review the payment methods you have set up to use with Google Pay, and removing any that are either no longer active, or that you don't feel like you'll ever use with the service. In this video, I'll show you how to remove a credit or debit card from Google Pay.
Now let's walk through the steps to remove a card from Google Pay.
Step 1. Navigate to Pay.Google.com, and then log in to your Google account if prompted. You'll land on your Google Pay home screen.
Step 2. Click "Payment Methods" in the menu along the top of the screen. All of the payment methods you've set up with Google Pay will be displayed.
Step 3. Locate the credit or debit card you want to remove from Google pay, and then click "Remove." A message appears asking if you're sure you want to remove this payment method.
Step 4. Click "Remove." You'll return to the Payment Methods screen where that card will now be removed.
