Steps to Change How Apps Open in Freeform Mode from the Sidebar on Motorola Edge 50 Neo:

Enable Freeform Mode:

Go to Settings

Tap Display

Select Advanced

Toggle on Freeform mode (if it's not already enabled)

Open the Sidebar Panel:

Swipe the Sidebar handle from the edge of the screen

Find the app you want to customize

Adjust App Launch to Freeform Mode:

Tap the three-dot menu or Settings icon next to the app in the Sidebar

Select Open in Freeform mode
