How to Change Language on STEAM Settings (Best Method)
2Changing the language on Steam is a two-part process: you can change the language of the Steam client interface itself, and you can also set your preferences for the languages used on the Steam Store and for the content of individual games. The best method is to configure both settings to get the experience you want.
Part 1: Change the Language of the Steam Client
This will change the language of all the menus, buttons, and text within the Steam application itself.
Open Steam Settings:
Launch the Steam client on your computer.
Click on "Steam" in the top-left corner of the window.
From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
Go to the "Interface" Tab:
In the Settings menu, click on the "Interface" tab on the left-hand side.
Select Your Language:
At the top of the Interface settings, you will find a dropdown menu labeled "Steam client language."
Click this menu and select the language you want to use.
Restart Steam:
After you select a new language, a prompt will appear asking you to restart Steam for the changes to take effect.
Click "Restart Steam".
