How to Change Your Discord Username - New Usernames
27In this video I show you how to change your Discord username with the new usernames update. This allows you to select a new username without any discriminators.
To change your username on Discord you will need to go to my account page in the user settings. Here your username will have an edit button next to it, which once clicked will allow you to change your username.
Once you click the done button your username will automatically be updated.
If you don't have the option to choose a Discord username without discriminators then you will need to wait for the update to be available for you.
The new Discord username change has been slowly released to all users. This update removes the need for a number tag or discriminator at the end of the username. Instead opting for the more traditional unique username style seen on other platforms.
