How to Turn Off Legacy Username Badge on Discord Mobile - Hide Old Name
23In this video we show you how to turn off legacy username badge on Discord mobile. This will remove the originally known as badge from your profile and hide your old username. If you don't want someone to be able to see your old username then you will want to turn off this badge.
To disable the legacy username badge on Discord mobile you will need to head to the profiles settings page. Under the user profile tab you will find the option for legacy username badge. If the switch is turned on then other Discord users will be able to see your originally known as badge. Whereas turning the switch off will hide your old Discord username.
There are times where you will want the badge to be shown, such as if you had a cool username tag or discriminator. However, if you had a different or silly username in the past then turning off the legacy username badge may be preferred.
