How to Change your Screen to Duplicate, Extend, or Turn off Screen on Steam Deck (2nd Monitor)
3To change your screen settings on the Steam Deck, you can follow these steps:
Duplicate or Extend Screen:
Enter Desktop Mode:
Press the Steam button.
Navigate to Power and select Switch to Desktop.
Access Display Settings:
Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
Here, you can choose to either duplicate or extend your screen.
Configure Display:
For duplicate, select the option to mirror your display.
For extend, choose to extend your display to the connected monitor.
Turn Off Steam Deck Screen:
Enter Desktop Mode:
Follow the same steps as above to switch to Desktop Mode.
Access Display Settings:
Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings.
Disable Steam Deck Screen:
Select the Steam Deck screen and choose the option to disable it, making the external monitor the primary display
