To right-click on the Steam Deck in Desktop mode, you have a couple of options:

Use the L2 Button: Press the L2 (left trigger) button to perform a right-click.

Tap the Left Trackpad: You can also tap the left trackpad to right-click on a file or an empty space on the desktop.
If you want to customize the right-click button, you can do so in the Steam settings:

Open Steam in Desktop mode.
Go to Settings - Controller - Desktop Configuration.
Remap the right-click function to your preferred button
