Cache files are temporary data stored on your device to help the app run faster, but over time, these files can become outdated or corrupted. If you’re using an Android phone, start by opening the Settings app. Scroll down and tap on the section labeled Apps. In the Apps menu, tap the search icon at the top of the screen and type in Google Calendar. Select the app from the results to open the App Info page.
From there, tap on Storage. You’ll see details about how much data the app is using, including cached files. Tap the Clear Cache button to remove only the temporary files stored by the app. This will not affect your events, reminders, or account data—it simply refreshes the app’s stored data to help it run more smoothly.
Avoid tapping Clear Data unless you're ready to reset the app completely. Doing so will remove all app data from your device and may log you out of your account, but your events will still be safe in your Google account online.
