Clearing the cache in the Samsung Pay or Samsung Wallet app can help resolve performance issues, reduce app glitches, and free up storage space on your Android phone. Over time, cache files accumulate as temporary data used by the app for faster performance, but they can sometimes lead to slowdowns or unexpected behavior.

To clear the cache, start by opening the Settings app on your Android device. Scroll down and tap on the Apps section. Once inside, use the search bar at the top to look for the Samsung Wallet app, which now includes Samsung Pay functionality. You can type “Wallet” or “Samsung Pay” to locate it quickly.

After selecting the app from the search results, you'll be taken to the App Info screen. Tap on Storage to view the amount of data and cache being used by the app. Inside the Storage section, tap on the Clear Cache option. This will immediately remove all temporary cache files used by the app.

It's important to note that clearing the cache does not delete your personal data, settings, or payment methods saved within the app. However, if you tap on Clear Data instead, it will remove all saved information and log you out, so make sure you're only selecting Clear Cache.

This method is specific to Android users, as cache management isn’t available on iPhones in the same way. If you're using a Samsung phone and experiencing app issues, regularly clearing cache can help maintain smooth performance.
