How to configure CamStudio 2.0 so videos may be directly uploaded to YouTube (no conversion)
WARNING - I will NOT be held responsible for any damages the software(s) and methods shown in this video may cause to yours or someone else's computer, hardware, software, and/or data, including loss of use of such devices and/or loss of data and/or loss of profits from the resulting inability to use such devices and data. Any information or program you choose to put into use from this video is done AT YOUR OWN RISK. As a precaution, I recommend backing up any irrecoverable data before installing and using ANY new software(s), including those shown in this video.
This video will show you how, through configuring the options of the freeware open source software called CamStudio 2.0, you can screen capture and screen record videos which do not require conversion or external compression before uploading to YouTube, allowing you to upload the videos you created using CamStudio 2.0 directly to YouTube.
Sadly, if you do not configure CamStudio 2.0 properly (as indicated in this video), then videos created by the software have to then be reconverted and recompressed externally using another piece of software (such as VLC Media Player) before they can be uploaded to YouTube, else YouTube will report the following errors as the upload nears completion:
Processing of the video failed. Please make sure you are uploading a supported file type.
Failed (unable to convert video file)
In addition, if you use the classic original YouTube video uploader, the error appears as, once upload of the video is complete, video preview windows are shown, scrolled, and upon reaching 99% processing, progression comes to a stop and everything halts in a processing hang.
