2How to Enable Re-Order From Portal in Odoo 18 Website
Odoo 18 offers a convenient feature that allows customers to easily re-order previously purchased products directly from their portal. This significantly streamlines the re-ordering process, saving both time and effort for your customers.
Here's how to enable and configure this feature:
1. Enable the Feature:
Navigate to Website Settings:
Go to Website -- Configuration -- Settings.
Locate the Shop - Checkout Process Section:
Scroll down to the Shop - Checkout Process section.
Enable Re-Order From Portal:
Check the box next to Re-Order From Portal.
2. Configure Product Re-Ordering:
To ensure products can be re-ordered, you need to configure them accordingly:
Navigate to Product Settings:
Go to Inventory -- Products -- Products.
Select a Product:
Click on the product you want to enable for re-ordering.
Enable Re-Ordering:
In the product form, under the General Information tab, check the Can be Purchased box.
Set Product Type:
Ensure the Product Type is set to Storable Product.
3. Customer Experience:
Once enabled, your customers can easily re-order products from their portal:
Log into the Portal:
Customers log into their portal account.
Access Order History:
They navigate to their order history.
Re-Order Products:
Next to each order, they'll find a "Re-order" button. Clicking this button adds the products from that order to their shopping cart.
Review and Checkout:
Customers can review the items in their cart, adjust quantities as needed, and proceed to checkout.
