1Odoo provides a built-in feature to display strikethrough prices on your website, indicating a discounted price. To enable this:
1. Enable the "Compare Price" Feature:
Go to Website -- Configuration -- Settings.
Scroll down to the E-commerce section and enable the "Compare Price" option.
2. Set the Comparison Price:
Go to E-commerce -- Products.
Edit the product for which you want to display a strikethrough price.
In the product form, you'll find a new field called "Compare To Price".
Enter the original price of the product in this field.
3. View the Strikethrough Price on Your Website:
Once you've set the comparison price, the product will be displayed on your website with the original price struck through and the discounted price shown below it.
Additional Considerations:
Pricelists: You can use pricelists to set specific prices for different customer groups or promotions. If you create a pricelist with a discounted price, the original price will be struck through.
