How it Works:
Location Sequencing:
Assign alphanumeric sequences to your storage locations.
Ensure that the sequence reflects the physical proximity of the location to the picking area.
For example, if "Shelf A" is closer than "Shelf B," assign "Shelf A" a lower sequence number.
Picking Order:
When a picking order is created, Odoo will prioritize products from locations with the lowest sequence number.
This means that products from the closest location will be picked first, followed by those from the next closest location, and so on.
Configuration Steps:
Enable Necessary Features:
Go to Inventory -- Configuration -- Settings.
Enable Storage Locations and Multi-Step Routes.
Set Removal Strategy on Locations:
Go to Inventory -- Configuration -- Locations.
Select the desired location.
