How to Connect & Pair your Xbox Series X Controller to iPhone (Easy Tutorial)
To connect and pair an Xbox Series X controller to your iPhone, follow these steps:
Requirements:
Your iPhone should be running iOS 14.5 or later, which supports the Xbox Series X controller.
Ensure your Xbox Series X controller supports Bluetooth. Most standard and Elite controllers are compatible, but check if yours has Bluetooth functionality.
Steps to Connect:
Turn On Your iPhone's Bluetooth:
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap on Bluetooth.
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled (it should turn green).
Put the Xbox Series X Controller in Pairing Mode:
Turn on the controller by pressing the Xbox button (the one with the Xbox logo on it).
Press and hold the Pair button located at the top of the controller, near the USB-C port, for about 3 seconds until the Xbox button begins to flash quickly. This indicates the controller is in pairing mode.
Pair the Controller with Your iPhone:
With the Bluetooth settings open on your iPhone, wait for the controller to appear in the list under "Other Devices". It will be listed as "Xbox Wireless Controller".
Tap on the controller's name to pair it. Once paired, you'll see it move to the "My Devices" section with a "Connected" status.
Confirm Connection:
The Xbox button on the controller will stop flashing and might show a solid light, indicating it's connected. You can now use your Xbox Series X controller with compatible games or apps on your iPhone.
