To connect a new PS4 controller wirelessly to your PS4 console, follow these steps:

Steps:
Turn On Your PS4 Console:
Ensure your PS4 console is powered on and you're at the home screen or in any menu.

Put the Controller in Pairing Mode:
Start with the Controller Off: If the controller is on, press and hold the PS button until the light bar turns off.

Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold both the PS button (the one with the PlayStation logo) and the Share button (the button to the left of the touchpad) at the same time until the light bar on the controller starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the controller is now in pairing mode.
Initiate Pairing on the PS4:

Go to the PS4's Settings menu from the home screen.
Navigate to Devices.

Select Bluetooth Devices.
Pair the Controller:

Your PS4 should detect the controller under "Other Devices". Look for "DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller" in the list.
Select this option to pair the controller with your PS4.

Confirmation:
Once the pairing is successful, the light bar on the controller will stop flashing and will turn a solid blue (or another color if you've changed the light settings). This indicates the controller is now connected and ready to use.
