How to FIX You Can Join Multiplayer Games on Xbox Series X (Privacy Settings)
10If you’re having trouble joining multiplayer games on your Xbox Series X, here are some steps you can try:
Network Reset and Power Cycle:
Go to Settings - Network Settings - Advanced Settings - Alternate Mac Address.
Clear the Mac address, and then restart your console.
While the console restarts, also restart your internet router.
Check NAT Type:
Make sure your NAT type is open. You can find this in Settings - Network Settings - NAT type.
If it’s not open, contact your internet provider to open the necessary ports for Xbox Live:
Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)
Perform a Console Reset:
Go to Settings - System - Console Info -Reset This Xbox.
Choose Reset and Keep my Games and Apps (this won’t delete your games).
