To connect a wired headset to your Xbox Series X or Series S controller and mute the TV speakers, follow these steps:

Plug in the Headset:
Locate the 3.5mm audio jack on the bottom edge of your Xbox controller.
Connect your wired headset’s 3.5mm audio cable to this jack.
Adjust Volume and Settings:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
Navigate to the audio settings (usually under “Audio & music”).
