Ultimate Ears makes a lot of great portable Bluetooth speakers. And one of the more awesome features a lot of those speakers are packed with is the PartyUp feature, which lets you connect up to 150 Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speakers together. However, before we walk through the steps to connect multiple Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speakers using the PartyUp feature there are some things to keep in mind. The PartyUp feature is compatible with all Ultimate Ears Boom, MegaBoom, Everboom and HyperBoom speakers. It is not compatible with Ultimate Ears WonderBoom, Blast or MegaBlast speakers. And finally, this will require the Ultimate Ears Boom app.
Step 1. First, make sure that all of the Ultimate Ears speakers you want to connect together using PartyUp are turned on and paired to either your iPhone, iPad or Android device. I'll link to my videos in the description that will show you how to connect an Ultimate Ears speaker to your device if you need help with that. Additionally, you'll need to make sure the Ultimate Ears Boom app is installed on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Step 2. Open the Ultimate Ears Boom app. You'll see the active Ultimate Ears speaker you're connected to on the screen. Again, the PartyUp feature is compatible with all Ultimate Ears Boom, MegaBoom, Everboom and HyperBoom speakers. It is not compatible with Ultimate Ears WonderBoom, Blast or MegaBlast speakers.
Step 3. Tap the "PartyUp" icon in the menu at the bottom of the screen. The PartyUp icon features two speakers. The PartyUp menu opens, where you'll see your active Ultimate Ears speaker in the center of the screen, and all other Ultimate Ears speakers found at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4. Tap and hold your finger against the Ultimate Ears speaker at the bottom of the screen that you want to connect with your active speaker, and then drag it to the center of the screen next to your active speaker and release it. You'll see a pairing icon on the second speaker for a few seconds before it disappears, indicating that your Ultimate Ears Bluetooth speakers are now connected and playing the same audio at the same time. Repeat this process to connect up to 150 Ultimate Ears speakers in a single party.
You can end your party at any time by tapping "End Party" at the top of the screen, and then tapping "OK." At this time only one speaker will continue playing audio from your device.
