If you have outdated Telegram contacts, duplicates, or simply want to clean up your contact list for better organization, deleting contacts can be a useful step. Keeping your Telegram contacts list tidy ensures that you can easily find and communicate with the people you need without any clutter.
So, if you’re ready to streamline your Telegram contact list and enhance your messaging experience, let’s dive right into it.
Step 1. Open the Telegram app on your iPhone. You'll land on your Chats screen.
Step 2. Tap "Contacts" in the menu along the bottom of this screen.
Step 3. Find the Telegram contact you want to delete, and then hold your finger against it. A menu pops up.
Step 4. Tap "Delete Contact" in this menu. Another menu opens at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Tap "Delete Contact" in this menu. You'll see a message at the bottom of this screen letting you know that this contact has been deleted. You'll have roughly five seconds to change your mind where you can tap "Undo" to restore that contact. After that time passes, that Telegram contact will be deleted.
