Hi, this video shows you how to connect the Nintendo Switch directly to a wired Ethernet connection without using the dock. By using a USB-C OTG (on the go) cable you will be able to plug your USB to Ethernet Dongle straight into the switch tablet. This could be useful if using multi player away from the Nintendo Switch Dock on the main TV in another room of the house when you need a more reliable faster internet connection. You have to be careful as the added weight of the cable could damage your USB-C port if the cables and dongle are left unsupported. It would be ideal if resting on a bed or sofa so the bulk of the cables/dongle could rest without dragging down the switch tablet.
