How to Connect your PS5 Controller to iPhone with WIRE OTG Adapter
To connect a PS5 (DualSense) controller to an iPhone using a wired connection with an OTG adapter:
Get the Right Cable and Adapter:
Use a USB-C to USB-C cable (since the PS5 controller has a USB-C port) that supports data transfer, not just charging.
For iPhones with a Lightning port (e.g., iPhone 14 or earlier), you’ll need a Lightning to USB Camera Adapter (Apple-certified or third-party).
For iPhones with a USB-C port (e.g., iPhone 15 or later), you may not need an adapter; a direct USB-C cable should work.
Connect the Controller:
Plug the USB-C cable into the PS5 controller’s USB-C port (on top of the controller).
Connect the other end to the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter, then plug the adapter into your iPhone’s Lightning port. For USB-C iPhones, connect the cable directly to the phone’s USB-C port.
Grant Permissions:
Your iPhone may prompt you to allow USB accessory access. Tap Allow or OK.
The controller should be automatically recognized as an input device.
Test the Connection:
Open a controller-compatible app or game (e.g., Apple Arcade, Call of Duty Mobile, or Xbox Game Pass).
Check if buttons, joysticks, and triggers work. The controller’s light bar may light up to indicate connection.
