Have you ever received a PDF file that you needed to edit or wanted to convert into a more flexible format? Whether it's for school, work, or personal projects, converting a PDF to a Google Doc can unlock a world of editing possibilities.
In this video I'll show you how to easily convert a PDF into a Google Doc, preserving the text and formatting as much as possible, so you can edit, share, and collaborate with ease.
Step 1. Open your Google Drive account in a web browser, and then navigate to the folder you want to upload your PDF to.
Step 2. Click "New" in the menu on the left side of the screen. A menu opens.
Step 3. Click "File Upload" in this menu. An Open window pops up.
Step 4. Navigate to where the PDF you want to upload to Google Drive is located. Click to select that PDF file, and then click "Open." Your PDF file will be uploaded to Google Drive.
Step 5. Right-click the PDF file you just uploaded to Google Drive to open a menu. Click "Open With" in that menu, and then click "Google Docs." Your PDF file will open in Google Docs where the text in the document will be editable.
