How to cook raw meat (raw beef or raw pork) using a microwave oven

This video aims to answer the question: can you cook raw meat using a microwave oven? The answer is yes (provided you follow these guidelines...this has been tested cooking raw beef and/or raw pork (and therefore I cannot vouch for the performance cooking other types of raw meat in a microwave). Directions: cut meat into strips or pieces no thicker than a quarter of an inch thick. Place raw meat in a circular pattern on the edge of a plate. Cook on high for 10 minutes; checking meat every minute after five minutes of cook time, ensuring that ALL pink colour has been cooked out of the meat, all while looking for orangey red 'candied' or caramelized edges to indicate when the meat has been fully cooked. Do not undercook meat! Only microwave cook meat to the 'well done' standard and NOT to a lighter finish.
