Have you ever needed to quickly share the path of a file or folder with someone or perhaps input it into an application, but found yourself navigating through a maze of directories to write it down manually? Windows 11 has made this task simpler and more intuitive than ever before.
In this video I'll show you how to effortlessly copy a file or folder path directly from the File Explorer in Windows 11, streamlining your workflow and saving you valuable time.
Step 1. Open File Explorer on your Windows 11 computer, and then navigate to the file or folder that you want to copy the path to. In this example, I want to copy the path to this image of Spider-Man and Iron Man.
Step 2. Right-click the file or folder you want to copy the path to. A menu opens.
Step 3. Click "Copy as Path" in this menu. Now, navigate to where you want to paste the path to that file or folder on your Windows computer, and then click the "Control" and "V" buttons at the same time. Alternatively, you can right-click and then click "Paste." The path to that file or folder will be pasted in that location where you can either save and store it, or share it.
