How to Create a Twitch Poll (Start, End & Delete)
29You can create a Twitch poll by using the /poll chat command. Once the command has been sent the Twitch poll menu will open. To start a Twitch poll you will need to fill out the question and at least two responses. Twitch polls can only be started by the streamer or a moderator.
Once you start a Twitch poll it can be either deleted or ended using chat commands. The /deletepoll command will remove the poll without sharing the results, while the /endpoll command will end the poll and finalize the results.
In order to start a Twitch poll the streamer will need to be either an affiliate or partner. If the streamer doesn't have polls enabled on their channel then Nightbot can be used as an alternative.
Nightbot can be used to create a Twitch poll for non-affiliates. Once Nightbot has been added the !poll new command can be used to start a poll. The command will have to include the question and all responses separated by a vertical line.
